About me
Born in 1957 in Jakarta, Indonesia, Trinawangwulan mentored with S. Sudjojono in Sanggar Pandanwangi in 1976, graduated from the Indonesian Institute of Fine Arts (Sekolah Tinggi Seni Rupa Indonesia) in Jogjakarta in 1982, and studied under Dullah in Sanggar Pejeng, Mas-Bali 1982-1983. Since 1976 she has participated in exhibitions in Indonesia and internationally and has won awards for her work. In 1983 she was the Indonesian representative to the ASEAN Youth Painting Workshop and Exhibition in Bangkok. In 1985 she was a member of the Bagong Kusudiadja dance group which travelled and performed across Europe and Asia. Since 1986 she has been living and working in Germany. Her exhibitions in Europe are sponsored by the ASEAN Institute of Heidelberg.
